Our doors and our hearts are always open to welcome you!
Our history at the First Baptist Church of Plymouth, Massachusetts stretches back over 200 years, but our faith, our community life is grounded in the realities of life in today's hectic and often uncertain world.

We are rooted in the Baptist tradition, but count those from numerous faith traditions among us.

We believe that the true sign of faithful discipleship is responding to God's call to service at home, at work and in the community.

We seek to be a people of faith, committed to Christ, to each other, and to sharing God’s love in the world.

It’s a great adventure! We invite you to join us!

The First Baptist Church of Plymouth must change in order to thrive.  To that end, we are investigating a TABCOM (The American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts) initiative called Churches Covenanting for Transformissional Change.

Over the next few months we will be meeting and studying our church's past in order to discern its future.

Won't you join us?

First Baptist Church of Plymouth

Statement of Purpose

First Baptist Church of Plymouth is a community inclusive of all people who seek, through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, to grow in relationship with God, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, discover God’s will for their lives and reach out to the world to share God’s love with joy.

We are committed to worship, teaching, learning and listening and through these to become disciples of Christ who support one another in our journey of faith.
