Shawl Ministry Team Members
We are a group that gathers to knit or crochet shawls or lap robes with prayerful concern for whomever is to receive the gift.  We share joys and concerns, we laugh, we share moments of our lives and we pass on blessings to those who need to know that god's community cares for them.

Our Shawl Ministry group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month to knit or crochet a shawl which is then sent on with our blessings to someone whom we feel needs the gift of God's love manifested through us.

All are invited to take part in this important ministry.  If you already know how to knit or crochet, great!  If not, we will teach you.  If you feel you cannot knit or crochet, we invite you to be a part of this ministry by supplying yarn or donating money for material for one shawl.  Or maybe you would like to be a part of the blessing ceremony as the shawls are passed from the maker's hand and sent on to the recipient.  You can also participate by praying for those who are making the shawls and those who are receiving them.

For more information you can contact either Linda Fredericks or Judy Jones or leave a message on the church answering machine.  Also check out the Prayer Shawl Ministry website at www.shawlministry.com.
